Street Music

We are a street band of around 20 musicians, roughly even numbers of men and women, from teenager to sixty-something! We play African, Latin, jazz, blues, ska, klezmer, and even the occasional waltz!

We aim to look good as well as play music, so we have a locally themed costume and no music stands. We are serious about music being fun!

Locations

TENTH AVENUE BAND can perform at a variety of locations ranging from outdoor street events to large indoor concert halls. We regularly play abroad as well as at home, and in many varied venues.

As well as playing across the North East of England, Tenth Avenue Band has performed at events all over Britain and travelled throughout Europe to France, Holland, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Czech Republic.
